WuliuAir joined Multilateral e-AWB Agreement

In 2019 IATA announced that electronic Air Waybill (e-AWB) became the default contract of carriage for all air cargo shipments making paper based documents only exception and in the near future eliminating them at all. WuliuAir happily joined this initiative by signing Multilateral e-AWB Agreement. This largely simplifies the air cargo process, cause there is no need to print, handle or archive the paper documents.

While it is a transition period yet and some airlines still require paper-based AWBs, we keep both ways of documentation. Regardless, we hope the transition process will not last long. Industry will soon realize great benefits of paperless processes, including improved efficiency and reliability of the overall cargo handling process, decreased handling errors, positive impact on the environment and many more.

Information based on official IATA’s communication.
